Dr Jessica Mills
Clinical Psychologist, Pain Management Centre, Burwood Hospital,
Dr Jessica Mills grew up and was trained in the Lower North Island of New Zealand, moving to Christchurch to take up a role as a clinical psychologist at the Burwood Pain Management Centre.
Her clinical work focuses on the assessment and treatment of chronic pain in children and adults in an interdisciplinary setting. Jessica is the deputy chair of the NZPS paediatric pain SIG, a member of Pain@Otago research group, and supervises students to complete research in the area of pain management. Jessica has also been involved in the development and piloting of group programmes for patients living with pain, and the sociopsychobiomedical treatment of chronic pelvic pain.
